The Chosen is back for Holy Week, the most pivotal week in human history. Tables are turned. Friends are betrayed. And powerful leaders plot the death of Jesus. The Chosen: Last Supper is the must see event of the Easter season. With over 250 million viewers (as of 7/27/24), The Chosen is one of the most-watched shows in the world.

MY REVIEW covers Episode 1 of Season 5: The Triumphant Entry into Jerusalem! I have imagined it many times as well as seen it performed numerous times in filmed productions and church plays, but this is my favorite portrayal. 

The love and joy is also mixed with sorrow, anger, and uncertainty. Watching it as history, knowing what will happen, I can't help but wonder what it was like to actually experience this. 

But, as usual, The Chosen presents an excellent of what could have happened. The story brings laughter and tears and eager anticipation of what is coming next. Yes, I read my Bible and know what happens...but I do love watching this series. I highly recommend you watch Season 5.
