To be honest, I really liked the book, but I didn't love it. Perhaps it is because I am in the middle of being pulled in so many directions that I can't focus right now on one more thing, but I found myself getting distracted. I did, however, realize that once again I was being given a example of “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). That verse has shown up a lot in recent weeks! Not a sense of dropping things to concentrate, but being more aware of God's presence in my life. The author reminded me that God is involved in my life and I can get too busy to see Him sometimes; I need to look for God in the middle of my circumstances. The Bible Study included in the back is also very useful for helping to experience that intimacy with God that let slip when I take focus off of Him.
