Barry Corbin

The legendary actor Barry Corbin plays Police Chief Burns in Beyond The Farthest Star. A no-nonsense type of man, he is tossed in the midst of  a flurry of activity as the national media rushes in and the spotlight is put on the small town of Leonard, Texas. Chief Burns is not the type to buckle under pressure and give in just because the defendant is wealthy and well-known. With all of the events going on with the media circus, plus the usual duties he faces on the job, will Chief Burns be able to maintain order?  Check out this video and see what Barry says about his character :

Barry has had a long career in movies and television, starting back in the 1960s. Some of his more memorable roles on television have been Maurice J. Minnifield in Northern Exposure, Coach Whitey Durham in One Tree Hill and Clay Johnson in The Closer. Of course, he also had great performances in such films as No Country For Old Men and War Games. Plus he has several other film projects currently in various stages of production.
