I'm confident much of what is covered in this video will be corroborated by the museum.

IE: the Creationist view that rather than an evolutionary TREE (showing all animals coming from ONE primordial base) each type of animal comes from a single ancestor. So rather than an evolutionary TREE, you might say we have a Creationist orchard.

(I will copy and paste the above on your FB post for this, as I'm not sure WHICH one you wanted the comment on!)
-Ron StoneHatfieldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01667330717443710907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2868362020355041588.post-87038937223972210632010-09-19T10:48:39.022-05:002010-09-19T10:48:39.022-05:00I love viewing the Galapagos Islands and any anima...I love viewing the Galapagos Islands and any animals in their environment. It is truly interesting to see the wonders of nature. I am definately not a Darwinist in my beliefs in science. The man was raised following the Church of England and was baptized. During that famous HMS Beagle tour he quoted scripture and tied in the organisms he saw to "periods of creation". By the end of the voyage though he came to question his beliefs and thought of religion as a tribal survival strategy, Darwin still believed that God was the ultimate lawgiver though. I find it a shame that when he put his notes together and published his book while he was an agnostic, as I believe that his ideas at the beginning of the voyage were more along the lines of the Cambridge progessor he studied with and followed the ideas of botany professor John Stevens Henslow and met other leading naturalists who saw scientific work as religious natural theology.
I believe that God has a plan for every organism he created and for every mutation that occurs in a population. Did you know that some reptiles, fish and amphibians can change their type of reproduction when there isn't an opposite sexual partner in the population? Science calls it parthenogenesis and if it isn't a sign of God's miracles I do not know what is.Lori Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01900477052629991659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2868362020355041588.post-3366959319275555112010-09-19T08:01:08.980-05:002010-09-19T08:01:08.980-05:00Sounds fascinating.
